Managing Editor / Project Manager
As managing editor, I lead editorial line up meetings, manage budgets, set up contracts with freelancers, schedule photography, coordinate design and printing, manage mail lists … and proofread, a lot! I enjoy keeping track of these details, and take pride in the end result—a successful, effective product that is representative of the department.

I have worked with the highly creative Jenny Dalton on a range of her projects, including the artwork for all three of her albums, websites, and a book design for her latest foray as an author.

I worked with another inspiring author and musician, Laura Harley, on a book design to match the existing look of her companion album.
Writer
I write a lot. But a lot of what I write is the stuff that people glaze over the fact that someone actually had to write it (unless there's a typo). My days are filled with invitation copy, email text, compiling events listings, blurbs for the website, etc. So I do get excited at the opportunity to craft some lively profiles, and in my free time I also jot down some personal musings (which I'm not sharing here!).
